Cultural context
Neighbour from Shalu / Collection
A sleeveless mustard-ochre jacket over a blue-green work shirt, wide charcoal shorts and rounded boots. Holds one small, closed, repaired box against the side; the other paw holds a closed cup of cold green tea, in contact with the palm and body.
A loose shirt in a large cream-and-pink check worn untucked, dark linen trousers and soft slippers. Sitting on the figure's own legs, holds a clear closed bottle of green tea diagonally by the left hip; looks down with a contented smile.
00 / Original form
Three rounded tea lobes form joined fins along each cheek of a soft trapezoid head. A mint-blue body, round belly and cheerful half-closed eyes make the silhouette playful.
