After the crossing, Brodok visits friends with tea in a small wooden caddy. Its carrier hangs from a broad leather strap; one paw steadies it while the other touches the strap. A pocketed black corduroy jacket, turquoise scarf and neat boots create a festive silhouette distinct from his quilted home vest and the frequently repeated gaiwan.
