Michael Zhan 几乎是偶然发现这把匙的。在一次为我们寻找福建乌龙的采购行程中,他在建水附近的一个小村庄多待了一天,那里以陶瓷闻名,而非木工。一位年长的工匠老李,数十年来一直在自家后院车制胡桃木匙,供应给昆明几家茶行。没有网络足迹,也没有出口——只有锡皮屋顶下的一台车床,和堆积的本地采收胡桃木枝。

整个过程安静而缓慢。老李挑选纹理漂亮的枝材,夹上车床,凭手感让造型自然浮现。深而圆的匙碗是他的招牌,能捕捉光线,并承托完整的茶叶。车好后,每把匙都经过三种粗细砂纸手工打磨,再涂上食品级桐油混合涂料,这种涂料会让木头在数月间逐渐加深色泽。

我们请老李专门为 tea.toys 制作一批。由于这些匙是接单车制,没有库存,也从不赶工。当您下单后,Michael 会通知老李,他一周内车好匙,让它固化后直接出货。您手中的匙仅制成数日,仍带着淡淡的胡桃木香。我们认为这种即时性很重要——这是一件为茶道仪式而制的工具,而非量产的配件。
