A pale rolled-sleeve shirt, dark waistcoat, muted red sash and leather half-apron form the carrier’s working outfit. Plotik holds a short paddle at the hip and checks the strap securing a wrapped tea brick.
A terracotta knitted waistcoat, pale waffle-textured shirt and smoky-blue trousers dress Plotik at home. A small stone mortar holds roasted wheat for maicha, prepared with a short wooden pestle.
