Kovshik serves milk tea in a dark deel. Two natural leaves and a small smile frame his soft tea-brick-shaped head.
For milk tea at home, Kovshik takes out a paper-wrapped piece of dark compressed tea. A short terracotta vest, cream shirt and soft trousers differ clearly from a deel. His natural pale brick-shaped head and flat leaves remain uncovered.
In a forest-green festive deel, Kovshik offers a friend milk tea in a wooden bowl. A small ladle is secured to his belt; his other paw is free. This is personal hospitality by a character whose story has an Ordos connection, not a claim about one custom shared by all Mongols.
In a vermilion outfit, Kovshik holds a bowl of milk tea on a folded blue khadag. This is his own gesture of hospitality in an original wedding story.
